What this call funds

The Indigenous Broadcasting and Media Program – Strengthening Community Broadcasting Grant Opportunity will provide grant funding of up to $4 million (GST exclusive) for grant activities to eligible applicants to strengthen the First Nations community broadcasting sector. Program objectives include supporting the First Nations broadcasting and media sector to modernise and stabilise operations and supporting the First Nations broadcasting and media sector to deliver reliable, high quality, culturally and locally relevant broadcasting services. The intended outcomes of the grant are: Improved capacity of First Nations broadcasting and media services to deliver high quality broadcasting services. Relevant First Nations news, information, cultural and educational programs remain accessible. Opportunities for training and development in the First Nations Broadcasting and Media sector are provided. Increase in the number of First Nations community broadcasting services operating in Australia.
