For the 2026-27 grants opportunity, the ASEAN-Australia Centre welcomes applications aligned with its mission and four pillars across three streams: Economic engagement; Creative industry and cultural connections; and Asia capability. Economic engagement initiatives may support networking, information exchange, awareness-raising, business matching and Asia capability for Australian business, including First Nations businesses. Creative industry and cultural connections may support exchanges, residencies, capacity-building, professional development, collaboration, export pathways and market development. Asia capability initiatives may draw on Southeast Asian student expertise, establish professional benchmarking or accreditation, or develop Australian Curriculum-aligned teaching resources. Projects must involve multiple Southeast Asian countries and identify Southeast Asian partners. The intended outcome is to build business, cultural and community links between Southeast Asia and Australia.
